Chickpeas are also called Garbanzo Beans. They have a creamy nutty flavor when cooked in the pressure cooker. I’m not a big fan of canned chickpeas. Use this recipe to make them, and you’ll never buy canned ones again.
Here is the recipe: Brine the chickpeas for 1 – 24 hours in water with a few teaspoons of salt. Put them in the fridge if longer than a few hours, Cook chickpeas in your pressure cooker at high pressure for about 10-12 minutes. Turn off the burner, allow the cooker to cool down. Drain the chickpeas, add extra virgin olive oil and salt, and eat.
